1. Spybot Search and Destroy - 360+ worms on my computer (last update 4 days ago, for me)
-dumps cache from everywhere for you when -Search for Problems- recommend daily or twice a day, when computer is used a lot.
-immunize has to be done with the Browsers closed, make a note of this, critical for your computer
 
2. AVG Free update daily  - even 2 to 4 times a day (last update yesterday for me)
-do full scan daily
 
3. Virus for hidden files: not resolved yet, remedy did not work (please do not mess with your registry without understanding that one wrong key mark and you may not have a functioning computer, best leave this for engineers, use Eusing Registry Cleaner below)

4. Spyware Blaster: update usually every 3-4 days, sometimes more often but rare.
-enable protections
 
5. AVG Free - 9.0 Free available now
 
6. Mydefrag 4.0
-daily  or every other day (especially weekly and monthly scans, spelled out very nicely or you're gonna have corrupted files)


7. Eusing registry cleaner (every couple of months) (scan run, no updates today)
